Langside PTC Christmas Fair 2022

On Saturday 10 December, 10am to 1pm we shall open the school to the community and host our annual Christmas Fair.

Following on from the success of our Spring Fair, the event will take place in the school playground and parts of the school (assembly hall and dinner hall).

Stalls include bric a brac, tombola – kids and adults, food and refreshments, Christmas stalls, kids arts and crafts and lots more.

Donations

Donations for our bric a brac, food market, kids and adult tombola plus silent auction welcomed and needed.

For bric a brac we would ask for preloved and/or unused toys, books, games and plants and household items – think of it as a Christmas clear out.

We embrace our school’s diversity and encourage parents to bake and cook their favourite sweet and savoury dishes (no nuts). All food for sale should be brought to the school on the Saturday morning between 9am and 10am.

For our popular kids and adult tombola we would welcome toiletries, toys, wine, chocolate, games etc. Items should be new and/or unused. This is where you dig out those unwanted gifts.

Silent auctions provide a great way to raise funds and usually includes donations from local businesses such as eatery vouchers, jewellary, experiences and local keepsakes and products.

We would ask donations be dropped off the week running up to the fayre w/c 04 December. Kids would normally bring in donations. For larger donations please drop off at the school Friday 09 December between 2pm – 4pm.

If unable to come along at this time, you can email weare@langsideptc.co.uk to arrange an alternative drop off. Please do not drop items at the school out with time allocated.

Volunteers

As always our events couldn’t happen without the continued support of our parents and carers. We would be looking for over 20 volunteers.

We would be looking for a few people to help in the run up to the fayre to source silent auction items, supplies for teas and coffees and food and drink hamper.

We would also be looking for volunteers to set up and manage stall – would be shifts so you can enjoy the fair too. This includes:

Friday 09 December 1.30pm to 3pm or 3pm to 5/5.30pm. Saturday 10 December 8am – 9.30am, 10am – 12pm, 12pm – 2pm and 2pm – 3pm. If available for one or more shifts please email weare@langsideptc to confirm day and time of availability.

The fair is being held to raise much needed funds for the school – equipment and activities.

All welcome and entry free.

Local businesses who would like to have a stall at the event, should email weare@langsideptc.co.uk

Bookings will be on a first come, first served basis and would require a £10 donation.
