Christmas Jumble Sale

Christmas Jumble Sale Langside

On Saturday 11 December, 10am to 1pm we shall open the school to the community and host our very own Christmas Jumble Sale.

The jumble sale will take place in the school playground, not inside the school, and will make full use of the school sheds and gazebos.

Donations

Parents and carers (or those who wish to donate) are being asked to take any saleable items of clothing, bric a brac, books and toys etc to the school on Friday 10 December from 2pm – 4pm.

If unable to come along at this time, you can email weare@langsideptc.co.uk to arrange an alternative drop off – more than likely PTC members’ home. Please do not drop items at the school out with time allocated.

Donations for the raffle are welcomed. This could include toiletries, toys, wine, chocolate, games etc. Items should be new and/or unused.

For ease of setting up the jumble sale we would ask that all bags are labelled and organised by type (soft toys, kids clothes aged 9 -10 yrs. etc.). We would ask to borrow clothes rails and hangers if you have any.

All baking should be brought to the school on the Saturday morning between 9am and 10am.

Volunteers

As always our events couldn’t happen without the continued support of our parents and carers. We would be looking for over 20 volunteers, and would be in a number of shifts. Friday 10 December 1.30pm to 3pm or 3pm to 5/5.30pm. Saturday 11 December 8am – 9.30am, 10am – 12pm, 12pm – 2pm and 2pm – 3pm. If available for one or more shifts please email weare@langsideptc to confirm day and time of availability.

The jumble sale is being held to raise much needed funds for the school and 0161 Community Glasgow, a community project that will provide Christmas dinner packages for local families.

Refreshments will be served including home baking.

All welcome and free entry.

Local businesses who would like to have a stall at the jumble sale, should email weare@langsideptc.co.uk Bookings will be on a first come, first served basis and donation encouraged.
