We need your support

Traditionally the PTC has been made up of non-working parents – on maternity leave/career break etc, plus a small number who worked full and part time. Over the years the mix has shifted and now leans towards most members being in full-time work.

To address the shift, the ideal scenario would be a type of co-operative where all parents are members and we all just get stuck in. To move to this type of committee requires quite a bit of work and we are exploring ways to move this forward.

In the meantime, we currently have eight PTC members but would like to have 12. We have tried to structure the committee to ensure all PTC activities and actions are delivered. However, we appreciate this could be daunting to potential new members.

Whilst we try to get to a better suited structure, we are asking for more people to join the PTC – the more members the less of a commitment it can be on everyone involved.

Ideally, we would like a group of people to help in the school garden, organise/manage/assist with a few events and seek funding opportunities. In terms of time this could be a couple of hours a month or year (or more if you have time).

An area where we are desperately needing support is applying for funding. So, if this is your area of expertise (or you would like to try) we would greatly appreciate your support.

We would recommend applying from the attached funding streams, however keen to stress other channels are encouraged too.
